A Russian woman was awarded the UK's largest financial settlement when her divorce was finalised recently in London, reports the Daily Mail.
Galina Besharova had been married to her husband, Russian billionaire Boris Berezovsky, for 18 years, but the couple had reportedly only lived together for the first two years of their marriage. Miss Besharova, who lives in London, had been granted a decree nisi last year on the grounds of her husband's unreasonable behaviour.
The exact amount of the settlement is not known, but is expected to be at least £200million, and could be as much as £370million, says the Daily Mail. Mr. Berezovsky did not contest the settlement.
